Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 19, 2026

Suite 216 Enterprises (“Suite 216,” “we,” “us”) is a small-business consulting firm based in Upstate New York. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit suite216.com, how we use it, who helps us handle it, and the choices you have. We have written it in plain English. If anything here is unclear, email us at Info@Suite216.com.

The short version

  • We collect what you send us through our contact form, plus basic visit statistics.
  • We use it to answer you and to understand how our site is used.
  • We do not sell your information or share it for advertising.
  • You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete what we hold about you at any time.

Information you give us

When you use our contact form, we receive the information you enter, such as your name, email address, and message, along with anything else you choose to include. To protect the form from spam, the submission is also recorded with your IP address (the number that identifies your internet connection), your browser type, and the date and time.

If you email us directly, we receive your email address and whatever your message contains.

Information collected automatically

Site statistics (Jetpack Stats). Our site is hosted on WordPress.com, which counts visits using Jetpack Stats. To do this, it processes your IP address, browser type, the pages you view, the page that referred you, the date and time, your browser language, and your general location (country, region, or city). We see only totals, such as how many people viewed a page; we cannot see who you are. Automattic, the company behind WordPress.com, keeps these logs for 28 days.

Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use our site, such as which pages are most read and how long visits last. Google Analytics uses cookies (small text files stored by your browser) to recognize repeat visits and collects information such as the pages you view, your device and browser type, your approximate location, and how you arrived at our site. Google provides us with reports, not your identity. Learn more in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

Security and spam protection. Our hosting provider records technical information, such as IP addresses, to keep the site secure and working.

How we use your information

  • To reply to your inquiry and, if you become a client, to work with you.
  • To understand how our site is used, so we can improve it.
  • To keep the site secure and free of spam.
  • To meet legal obligations, if any apply.

We do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.

Who helps us handle your information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We use a small number of service providers who process information on our behalf:

  • Automattic (WordPress.com, Jetpack, and Akismet): hosts our website, stores contact-form submissions, provides site statistics, and checks form submissions for spam. Automattic’s privacy policy.
  • Google (Google Workspace and Google Analytics): hosts our business email, where contact-form messages are delivered, and provides our site analytics. Google’s privacy policy.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

Cookies and “Do Not Track”

Our site uses cookies for Google Analytics, as described above, and WordPress.com may set cookies needed for the site to work. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics on all websites with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no common standard for responding to it, and our site does not currently change its behavior when it receives one.

How long we keep information

  • Contact-form inquiries and related email: up to two years, unless you become a client, in which case we keep records as long as needed to serve you and meet our business and legal obligations.
  • Jetpack Stats logs: 28 days, kept by Automattic.
  • Google Analytics data: no longer than 14 months.

Your choices

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email Info@Suite216.com and we will respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we may keep information we are required to keep by law.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including using reputable providers, encrypted connections (HTTPS), and limiting access to the people who need it. No method of storing or sending information online is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Our site is meant for businesses and adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the “Last updated” date at the top.
